I’m a photographer specialising in family photography, originally from Katherine, NT, now based in Darwin where I’m raising my children and fully embracing the Territory lifestyle — red dirt underfoot, open skies above, and a slower way of living.
My work is deeply drawn to connection and the beauty found in everyday life. I’m passionate about lifestyle photography that feels honest, warm and unforced — the kind of images that hold feeling, not just faces.
Alongside photography, my background as a Registered Nurse in paediatrics, emergency and community health has shaped the way I care for people. It’s something I bring gently into my maternity and family sessions too — creating a calm, supportive space where you can simply be, and feel looked after throughout the experience.
Currently, I’m on maternity leave and using this beautiful chapter of life to lean fully into my passion for photography. It’s a season that has deepened my love for documenting families and the quiet beauty of everyday life through lifestyle photography.
I often think this love was passed down through my grandmother, who spent years capturing wildlife and sharing her work around the world. Her eye for beauty and storytelling has shaped me more than I probably realise, and now I feel so grateful to be creating and preserving stories of my own.
For me, family photography is about capturing the in-between moments — the way you hold your child’s hand, the softness of their hair against your cheek, the cheeky glances, and the perfectly imperfect pieces of real life.
